From the times of the Soviet Union the sports complex has won good reputation of a learning and training center, well famous not only in our Republic, but also abroad. Today in "Stayki" can simultaneously train and prepare to main competitions athletes on more than 20 kinds of sport.

Moreover, in winter period in "Stayki" a ski base is open (300 ski pairs).
In 1976 the president of the International federation of football Joao Avelange has visited "Stayki". He has estimated highly working sports constructions and has told, that he was ready to place the Olympic players in "Stayki".
The local base has received positive estimation from the president of the International Olympic committee lord Killanin in 1980 year. Therefore it is no wonder that sportsmen from many foreign countries constantly train here. In a couple of words, "Stayki" has rich sports traditions.
